As an award-winning researcher, she talks about what we can learn from it, as well as allows us a glimpse inside the lives of the heroes in those barrack hospital wards–both those who lie in their beds hoping to recover, and those who give them treatment, and write to the patient’s families in the dead of the night, to keep the hope alive.
